How Sellers Prepare Custom Quote (for Gig)

A buyer can request for custom gig quote via the messaging app.

When a seller receives a request for custom quote, he/she should respond to the inquiry by asking for more details about the buyer’s needs. Once the seller and the buyer agreed on the specifications, the seller can start computing for the offier price. The seller shall then compute for the additional price to be added to the posted price.

The seller shall then input the additional price in the “Options”  tab by following these steps:

Step 1. Go to the Seller Panel.

Step 2.  Click “Products”.

Steps 3 and 4. Find the product post via the search filter or by manual browsing. Then, click the edit icon to go to the Option.

Steps 5, 6, and 7. Click the “Option” tab to see the “Did You Request For Custom Quote?” option. Go to the “Yes” column and type the price adjustment amount into the box. Remember to click “+” if the amount is intended to be added to the posted price or click “-“ if the amount is intended as a discount. Then, click “Continue”.

Step 8. Go to your profile and click your store name to see the product post with the price adjustment.

Step 9. Go to your profile and click your store name to check your product post with the price adjustment. If everything is in order, advise the customer to visit the product post and click “Yes” under the “Did You Request for Custom Quote” option before clicking “Add To Cart”.

The Custom Quote order will then appear in your dashboard. After the transaction, you may go back to the “Option” tab to change the price adjustment back to zero. If you leave it unchanged, it will not affect your product post and when a new request for custom quote arrives, you should change the amount again to what you will agree with the new customer.
